The Best Thing I've Heard in Years

"The more you know, the less you need."

There's something comforting about that statement. I think that's one of the reason this mindset appeals to me. The more I know, the more I feel prepared to deal with anything that comes my way. Therefore, the smarter I am, the fewer tools and "stuff" I need to survive, or even live comfortably. For some reason, I've known that instinctively all my life, but when I heard that this morning, something just clicked. We now return you to your normal consumerist lifestyle.
