Here there be dragons

It has been far too long since I posted, and for that I am sorry, friends. Tonight the wind is so strong it sounds like a deep, unearthly groan outside my window. It's nights like these that one can almost see large serpentine things crossing the moon. Or maybe it's just funky clouds, but hey, here there COULD be dragons. You don't know. Shoots. Don't question me.

The "haps" is that I am nearing midterms of my final semester in my BS program. Oh my goodness, how happy am I going to be? I'm telling you happy dances of Yuk Club proportions will be boogied. Partying of boat shack proportions shall be partied. I shall have the universe in the palm of my far-too-pale hand and I shall devour all that my career has stored up in its tightly plump skin.

Yep. I need to get back to work.

Tom has been great of course. He's been doing the heavy lifting by making sure we have a paycheck so that he can be a kept man some day. It is my most sincere hope that he gets to fulfill that dream, because I need someone to do my dishes and laundry one of these days! :)

Also, I find I take a great deal of my self-worth from my job. I also tend to get most of my social interaction from said occupation, so I'm looking forward to not just speaking with Picric on a daily basis. Not saying she isn't an awesome conversationalist, but if I say the wrong thing, she tends to try to chew my fingers off, so... yeah... that can be unpleasant. Bad kitty.

Anyhoo, Colorado is cool, and we're making great plans for when I graduate, so stay tuned, my darlings. There shall be something of interest going on for certain by Yule-tide at the latest.

And as a final thought:

GO DAD!
